Already Pregnant
When you’re pregnant, your body is working hard to support the development of a single cell in your belly into a living, breathing, little human being. Certain nutrients will be needed more, while others are needed less compared to when you weren’t pregnant.
After Pregnancy
Once your baby is born, your nutritional requirements change again as your body prepares itself to nurse your baby. Your body begins to recover from the childbirth, but at the same time starts to produce breast milk for your little one. Some prenatal vitamins on the market may have all the nutrients required for pregnancy, but may not be at the optimal level for breastfeeding moms.
